Judge Dredd Movie is Green Lit

Now there's not much way this could be worse than Danny Cannon's movie so I suppose it's something to look forward to !!

Rebellion
and 2000 AD are proud to announce that Judge Dredd is coming to a cinema near you soon!
Together with DNA Films, the movie production company behind such great sci-fi movies such as Sunshine and 28 Weeks Later, Judge Dredd will go into production in 2009.

Jason Kingsley, CEO and Creative Director said, ‘We can’t give away too many details at this point, but we’re looking forward to working with DNA Films to bring Judge Dredd back to the big screen.’

GREAT NEWS! I've been amused by some of the casting speculation doing the rounds-Clancy brown, Statham, Ron Perlman. Who to direct?

Let's trust Tharg not to let Len Wiseman or Brett ratner anywhere near the project!

Three points:

1. Woo-hoo!

2. But I don't know if Dredd could (or should) ever work on the big screen...

3. But I really hope I'm wrong!

Drokk!

What about Stallone in the lead role, just staple his helmet on this time.

Clarkie want dark judges. That's me, by the way.
