Skynet - Centurion

Originally designed by Steve Burg for Terminator 2 the Skynet Centurion was due to feature in the films opening battle sequence. Already a big budget film I believe this was cut for budgetary reasons. It's also hard to imagine just how this would have been handled FX. After all CGI was just getting up to speed still with T2 and I think this may have been beyond the CG technology of 1991. I think ILM would have done this in Go-Motion seeing as though it was round about this time they were still doing early Stop Motion tests for 1993's Jurassic Park before they went the CG route.
It's a wonderful design that I would love to see in action. More versatile than the lumbering tanks that Skynet were using.
