Happy Birthday Sigourney Weaver

58 today. A nice pic of her stood with her Mother and Father on the set of Alien. Elizabeth Inglis her Mother, appeared in the Aliens: Special Edition on the photograph that Burke shows of Ripley's daughter, Amanda Ripley.

Hard to believe Sigourney is now double the age she was when she made "Alien"! Doesn't time fly?!!

Great pic! I've never seen that one before.

Sigourney is great, she looks very young on that picture now though, mind you that was nearly 30 years ago.

She was originally going to do the scene where she's getting ready for hypersleep nude, but the studio said they'd have trouble selling the movie in certain countries. They should have done a different version for those people and kept the nude for us perve... I mean film fans.

Andrew, I'm beginning to suspect you were the set photographer on Alien, so rare are the pics you keep posting. Or perhaps you just have a pile of Starburst from the Seventies.

Speaking of cool pics, whatever happened to that cool collage which used to hang just inside the entrance to the Odeon? I used to love that thing, though all I can remember where Empire Strikes Back and Cactus Jack (I think...) You don't have a pic do you?
