I watched these again on DVD recently, aired originally in 1983 and 1984 this was a great show at the time, but now as it was then it really goes down hill at the scene pictured above, it always seemed like a huge cop out. For weeks after me and my mates would piss each other off by saying 'Pretanoma' to each other.Anyway there's still talk of V coming back, here's the link to the IMDB info http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0366112/

Crap! I had forgotten the ending. I loved that show and even drew a graphic novel incorporating a friend of mine into the story (yeah, she liked the show a little too much) but always hated the end.
'Star child' was it? Uggh.
Absolute cop out, having absolutely no bearing on anything which had transpired throughout the entire series. Booo! The Lizard baby should have lived, eaten Diana's (Dianes?) face and waged a savage war on all comers!
Oh yeah I hated that bit, glowing kid saves mankind,what a cop out.
I only really remember, hampsters, freddy kruger and the starchild, even though I watched the whole show.
Although the Speilberg mini series 'taken' had a similar bollocks space-kid cop out ending.
