Here's the trailer for the fourth film version based on Jack Finney's story Invasion of the Body Snatchers
The first version was filmed in 1956 and starred Kevin McCarthy, famous for "They're here already! You're next! You're next, You're next... "
A scene which McCarthy played again in a cameo in the 1978 version starring Donald Sutherland, Jeff Goldblum, Leonard Nimoy, Brooke Adams and Veronica Cartwright.
Abel Ferrara filmed his version under the title of Body Snatchers in 1993. This new version is simply called The Invasion.A similar tale was written a few years before Invasion of the Body Snatchers by Robert A Heinlein called The Puppet Masters (1951) this was also turned into a film starring Donald Sutherland in 1994

I'll give it a go, loved the first 2 version, saw the third once, can't remeber anything about it apart from a bit used in the trailer.

Had no idea this was a bodysnatcher movie, all the press I kept reading either called it a 'Zombie' pic (?) or a paranoid thriller with subtle sci-fi undertones. Guess its not cool to just be sci-fi these days.
Had to stop the trtailer however as I felt I was being shown just a little too much, as is unfortunately the case in most trailers these days.
Of the existing crop of IotBS films, I enjoy the original, The Seventies one blew me away and continues to be an all time fave and the Abel Ferrera one is so narrow in scope and vision, it feels more like a Sci-Fi Channel TV movie. This one 'appears' to be a winner, though reshoots to pump up the action sends off alarm bells...

I actually like all three and the only other film I can think of where that is the case is "Mutiny on the Bounty".
Looks pretty similar to the 70's version until that annoying kid turns up. I dunno looks like it'll end up like a lot of films nowadays it'll start off alright then just turn into a chase movie with her doing everything to save the kid.
I'm getting pretty sick of this seemingly endless trend of remakes tbh.
