I am Legend

I am Legend has been filmed twice as a movie, firstly in 1964 as The Last Man on Earth with Vincent Price then in 1971 as The Omega Man with Charlton Heston, over the years there has been talk of a new version on film, Ridley Scott started production on a version a few years ago with talk of Arnold Schwarzenegger to star. Latest news is that Will Smith is to star in a new version of this classic story and the film will be made by Constantine Director Francis Lawrence. I'm not 100% sure about the star or director but we'll see !!

Omega Man.......Hells Yeah!
I don't care much for C. Heston's politics but he is one of my favorite actors.
I look foward to Scotts take.
Thanks for stoping by the toolbox :)

Ah yes, Omega Man, Soylent Green, Planet of the Apes, Heston really had it nailed for a while when it came to Dystopian visions of the future.
Then he declared war on Ice-T and it all went to hell.
Damn you Heston, damn you all to heck!

I've not seen The Last Man on Earth with Vincent Price, according to IMDB it was filmed in Italy. Opinion is divided as usual if or not it's a good movie, same as the opinion on The Omega Man. I don't mind the Omega Man, but it's just not I am Legend !

I owned 'The Last Man on Earth' as part of some obscure horror boxset. It sucks!

I say owned 'cause I traded it in at Blockbuster.

I hope you traded it for a Jesse Ventura movie !
