The Crow - Remake

It's funny I should have mentioned Alex Proyas only yesterday and the fact he directed The Crow (1994) with the late Brandon Lee, as they've announced that Blade and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen director Steven Norrington has signed up to write and direct the remake.
Another film to add to the ever growing list of remakes.

Click on the pic for the link to the story.

I wasn't really a fan of the first one, but this isn't going to be, strictly speaking, a remake. They're 'reinventing' it apparently.

Re-inventing is just a poor excuse for not having any original ideas and not wanting to say it's just a remake. I love the first Crow movie though the 3 sequels and the very short lived TV series were supposed to be very hit and miss. After the first sequel I steared clear of the others.
Hollywood, get off your rich fat asses and make some original movies for once.

The first movie was a classic, beautiful film.....they really shouldn't redo this one....I reckon they should do a reimaging of the Flumps...or better still....Bod!

As pointless as trying to remake Enter The Dragon. Brandon Lee and his sad death sold the film...

Mistake.

If one should be Eric Draven, no one can fit Brandon Lee's shoe for it.

The first movie works not only because of Brandon but the essence which is close to the comic and most of all the soundtrack.

The crow is not a superhero. It will be a waste of time and effort like the TV shows and other sequel of the movie.
