So it's all roto scoped from the same footage...wow...I need a drink. At first I was laughing...now I'm depressed.

First Lucas, now Disney...I have no more heroes in my field.

Great. All along Disney have been giving us their cast-offs.

Roto work is really time consuming and expensive, makes sense to use some of the same movement outlines for similar stuff. Cutting a small corner in a film that takes about 5 years to make isn't that bad.

Most kids don't seem to mind. It's not like Tarzan where they only had 5 animated scenes they repeatedly used in random order.

Interesting to see, but it's not exactly fair to look at this and say they were re-using footage "all along", is it? Look at the video bit-by-bit and you'll notice that apart from the last two sequences all of these recycles are from Robin Hood, which had a tiny budget (there's stuff about the reuse of footage on Wikipedia: http://tinyurl.com/4fd8m7) and is probably the studio's least regarded film. It's not as if they cheated the public for decades with their best-loved work - it was mostly one weak movie.
