Love History of Violence...well, loved is sorta a strong word. Really thought it was an amazing movie. There. As far as the Lucy Liu movie goes...never heard of it. I'll have to give it a go.

Dave Gibbons is king, those are great dr who collections.

Mr Stirton was given a present of some original Gibbon's art from the strip (by a mate) it's the only page not to feature anything who related, apart from a dalek ship in the background. Great to see the original work though.

How did you rate the Modelling the 21st Century mag?

It was OK but a little overpriced ! The stuff with David Sisson was cool and I liked the UFO Moonbase interceptor based on the original Mike Trim concept !

I saw saw a little on the concept interceptor article over at Fanderson.org.uk.

I thought it looked a little more hard-ass and believable than ol' Big-Nose. Still, kind of like the Eagle, it's an entrenched classic machine now.

I've been hearing rumours for years that various people are on the road to do a BattleStar-style re-boot of UFO. Last I heard the Canadians were having a crack at it. Might be cool. The original is cheesy fun now but, like Space 1999, takes some serious liberties with plot, character and continuity. How many Eagle pilots did they lose again? ;)

But ouch to MT21C! 15 nicker? I think I'll plonk for Sunshine on Blu-ray instead...

Cypher was a very good movie, what with me being a huge Lucy Liu fan. :)
