The Secret History of Star Wars

The Secret History of Star Wars by Michael Kaminski, 528 pages available for free here

Not read it all yet, but I've skipped through, looks interesting especially regarding the creation of the prequels, one suggestion is that Lucas was numerically bound to do 3 prequels even though he didn't really have enough material, so Lucas confessed in an interview that a lot of the stuff was padding.

This is a revised 3rd edition.

A lot of stuff was padding, really!

I've just seen Indi 4, I think all of that was padding. Poor old bloke, Karen Allen stole the whole movie.

Been reading it...I just got to the part where the author compares the Star Wars synopsis to The Hidden Fortress and it is word for word except for the name changes.

But the movie said it happened a long time ago in a galaxy far far away! You mean to tell me none of that stuff actually happened? What the hell is going on here??
;-P
