City of Ember Trailer

The film was shot extensively in Northern Ireland and is directed by Gil Kenan who directed Monster House.
The 4 novels in the series are
The City of Ember - The People of Sparks - The Prophet of Yonwood - The Diamond of Darkhold due to be published this August
The 3rd novel is actually a prequel to The City of Ember.The filmakers have an option on the sequel novel The People of Sparks.

The trailer looks awesome! I cannot wait for this movie to come out on October 10th!
I love that the trailer’s scenery seems to match the dark and ominous imagery of the book, and with the threat of apocalypse just ahead this movie will be sure to keep anyone on the edge of their seat! Plus the combination of Tom Hanks Media and Walden Media is pretty unbeatable whatever they release I’m sure will be amazing!
