I went with Fellowship of the Ring, though again I think there are others that are pretty close, though not really a fan of Meet the Feebles or King Kong.
Superb film and my favorite of the three mostly because it has my favorite set piece in it; the night at the Prancing Pony. I loved it when I read it, I loved it when Bakshi animated it but I loved it the most when Jackson filmed it. Incredible. It's a lot darker than it first appears in the book. From the moment the Hobbits arrive to the moment they leave for Weathertop. Amazing. The riders gliding along, swords drawn, as Butterbur cowers behind the bar. Strider lighting his pipe, the glow illuminating his eyes. All amazing stuff.
"Fellowship" to me is a near perfect movie. It will be the crown jewell of his career like "Bladerunner' for Ridley Scott, "Drugstore Cowboy" for Gus Van Zandt, and Kubrick's...
Well, Kubrick has a lot more than one. Thats actually a good idea for your next poll, no?
I went for Fellowship, especially the cinema release. The dvd seemed to have a bit too much unnecessary stuff in towards the end that spoiled the flow. I get the feeling they spent most time on this one making sure the cinema release worked as they didn't know how well the extd dvds would sell. I think The music and fx in this one are the best too the shots of the cities look massive and sauron's eye really seems powerful.
WOW! Thats the first time I haven't been shouted down for my opinion on Jackson. O.K then, The Frighteners. It wasn't at all what I had expected when first watched but I did enjoy it.

Hey Dano, I'll do a Kubrick poll soon alright !
I went for 2 towers, just love the seige of helm's deep.
Though the frightners would be second.
Fellowship for me, as well... the other two films came in at a second place mark (only as I couldn't vote for them all at once).
I went with Fellowship as well. I love the extended version, which for the most part, goes by quicker for me. Its one of my fav movies now.
Meet the Feebles molested my inner child. *shudder*
Am I the only person to think Jackson is WAAAY overrated? Sorry, didn't like any of them.
That's fair enough, we can't please everybody ! :)
Even so if you had to choose there must be one of his films you'd rather watch over the others !?

so you didn't like Frighteners but you enjoyed it? ;-)
I voted for Fellowship of the Ring as well. Though I do love Heavenly Creatures also, mainly for Kate Winslet.
