I have a feeling it was better than the movies you have made.

I tried to see Spidey 3, but it was SO BAD. The whole dancing thing with funky-hair Peter Parker just ruined it for me!

I've been a big fan of Sam Raimi's right from the Evil Dead, I liked Spiderman but thought Spiderman 2 was way better, but I think with Spiderman 3 there was just too much going on, though I did like Thomas Haden Church as Sandman / Flint Marko. Danny Elfman who's worked with Raimi a lot since Darkman, said that working on Spiderman 2 was a miserable experience and... "It’s like my connection with Sam got completely severed. As far as I’m concerned, he went to sleep, somebody put a pod next to him and when he awoke, he wasn’t the same person I’d known for a decade." he also said "Oh yeah, he [Sam Raimi] can do whatever he wants [with the old Spider-Man music]. It’s the first time I’ve ever walked from a director in 20 years and hoefully the last time I have to turn my back on somebody but it became like intolerable.

I didn't know about the Elfman quote, that's pretty bad. Has Raimi gone totally hollywood?

I hated Spiderman 3, it was overblown CGI nonsense. How could the first 2 films be so great and the 3rd one be so duff ? I suppose the same could be said for Pirates of the Caribbean 3 also, my Girlfriend loved the first 2, but walked out 20 mins from the end of the 3rd one in disgust.
Love this clip you've posted though, I like the idea of doing a cartoon type show just in 3D animation.
