The Double Deckers

I used to love this show as a kid. Great to see the young Peter Firth, who later went on to star in Lifeforce, The Hunt for Red October, Mighty Joe Young and BBC TV's Spooks.
Also starring Brinsley Forde lead singer of the British reggae group ASWAD. Gillian Bailey who played Billie appeared in the first episode of Blake's 7, I put that fact in for Niel from Qurios.
Nice to see stuff like this up on You Tube, brings back fond memories.

Oh my God, does that bring back memories... Sunday mornings and a time when I was far more innocent... I have a sudden urge to watch The Banana Splits and Rhubarb And Custard...

I'm trying to recall it, but I did watch Lifefroce the weekend, some how it was'nt as good as I remembered but they rarely are, was still great stuff by Image Animation at the time and a vampire chick with her nabs out can't be bad

Ha ha ahahahahaahahah. Oh bloody hell, had to pick myself up off the floor after watching the titles. Cheers for making me feel 10 again.

Peter Firth! Didn't remember that, I wonder if he hums the theme while filming scenes for Spooks?

Oh Andrew, I've tried really hard to remember this and there is a smack of familiarity but I just can't fully remember the Double Deckers. I remember the Banana Splits tho......

Good grief - that takes me back. I'd completely forgotten about it, but now I remember it quite well, especially Tiger.

I used to HATE it as a child as I couldn't understand the plots and wished these toffynosed brats would bugger off as they were interrupting perfectly good cartoons.

Fraser, that might explain why IMBD is remarkably short on episode details, only listing one. link

I have no recollections of what happened in the series. But that describes the whole of the '70s for me.
