I've only just read that artist Angus McBride had passed away on May 15th. As a kid I remember McBride's work from Look and Learn magazine, then later I loved his artork on Role Playing games like Rolemaster and MERP ("Middle-earth Role Playing") Only last year I bought Angus's great book Warriors and Warlords featuring his historical artwork. He was a superb artist and it's sad to read of his death. Rest in Peace Angus Bride.

He also did a lot of the Osprey book illustrations for military modellers etc. Top artist.
Great draughtsman, including wonderful dinosaur pictures - some of which you can see here.
I think I've seen some of this guys LOTR's work before in a book or magazine.
