Dodgy SF Movie Poster and Book art etc...

This magazine cover was posted on a forum I visit. What's great is that the spaceship in the picture isn't the Battlestar Galactica but the Discovery from 2001: A Space Odyssey that someone's added fins to. This then reminded my of a Star Trek:The Next Generation novel that I seen a few years back that had a spaceship on the front, the actual ship was an upside down Battlestar Galactica.

This War of the Robots poster is fab, it features the astronauts from 2001: A Space Odyssey, hardly Robots or even in this film.

This poster for the film The Beast from Space has used the Star Wars Rebel Blockade Runner and removed the bottom 4 engines.

And this one for the Lou Ferrigno film Hercules directed by Starcrash director Luigi Cozzi uses the Narcissus shuttle from the films Alien and Aliens as the main body of the Space Dragon seen firing at Hercules.

I used to love Battlestar Galactica. I haven't had a chance to watch the new series. I heard its great.

It is great. Excellent writing. Andrew, I used to have that Star Trek book and I always pointed out the upside down Galactica to people. Interestingly enough, when the ST Voyager came out, people were saying that it looked a bit like the Galactica upside down. How do these people not get sued!?!?
