Jakers ! The Adventures of Piggly Winks follows the adventures of Piggley Winks and his friends Dannan the Duck and Ferny the Bull on Raloo Farm in the rural Irish village of Tara in the 1950s.Wiley the Sheep (voiced by Mel Brooks) offers wild and woolly advice to his all-too-sheepish flock.

Pocoyo is a pre-school animated cartoon series about a young boy who dresses in blue and who is full of curiosity. It is made by Zinkia Entertainment, and distributed by Granada International. There are 52 episodes in series 1 and each is 6 minutes long. The British actor and comedian Stephen Fry narrates the English language version which is shown in the U.K. on CITV.

SpongeBob SquarePants first aired on May 1, 1999 on Nickelodeon. The character was designed by marine biologist and animator Stephen Hillenburg, and is voiced by Tom Kenny. Other characters include Patrick Star, Sandy Cheeks a Squirrel, Eugene Krabs and Squidward Tentacles, Sponebob's pet is Gary the Snail.
Most episodes of the comedy, set in the Pacific Ocean, take place in the city of Bikini Bottom or the surrounding lagoon floor.

Atomic Betty is a Canadian animated television series on Teletoon and Cartoon Network, produced by Atomic Cartoons & Breakthrough (Canada), and Tele Images Kids (France). It is about a little red-haired girl named Betty, who, although overwhelmed with housework given by her mother, is recruited by a galactic peace-keeping organization. As a Galactic Guardian named Atomic Betty, assisted by an alien named Sparky, and a robot named X-5, she confronts the evil overlord Maximus I.Q. Despite being rather unassuming on Earth, Atomic Betty is a superstar throughout the galaxy and even has her own fan club of loyal followers.

After watching the crap that passes for adult TV these days I've discovered that kids TV is way more fun, and less depressing. Shows like ITV's Prehistoric Park show how you can spend £6 Million on a TV show and still make a load of crap, not to mention junk like Love Island and Big Brother. Only a handful of Documentary's on UK TV these days are any good, it was much better when we only had 3 channels ! :)

Pocoyo rocks and rules! I'm plannign on buying the DVDs incase it's not shown on telly by the time my not-yet-born is old enough to watch.
Atomic Betty looks good too.
