Odeon Middlesbrough - Demolition pt 2







I took a trip into town early this morning, I got some more pics of the Odeon getting demolished. The close-up of the window is the Rectifier room where they had the old Mercury Rectifiers, in the bottom picture you can make out the projection box portholes amongst the wood and brick.

I presume the sloped girders was the floor of screen 1??

Weird to see, and weird to think that its probably the first time since it was built that its seen natural sunlight!

Yeah that is screen 1 floor but that huge trunking was added by Jumpin Jacks,it went up through the old number 1 projection box and out of the roof.
