The 1970 Lionel Jeffries directed film of E. Nesbit's The Railway Children has got to be one of my favourite family movies. Often when movies are remade an actor or actress return in a cameo for old times sake, Jenny Agutter has been in The Railway Children 3 times, she appeared in a 1968 B&W version for the BBC playing Bobbie, a role she reprised 2 years later in the 1970 film, in the year 2000 she appeared again in an adaptation for Carlton Television, but this time she was playing the Mother.
Agutter was 18 when she made the film version in 1970, 2 years younger than Sally Thomsett who was playing her younger sister Phyllis.

She was the BOMB in Logans Run.
I'd be her sandman anyday.
I think the Railway Children is the only film that she didn't get her kit off in !! I'm sure she had nude scenes written into her contract ! :)
Railway Children rocks! Those sliding trees gave me the shivers!
I still cry like a complete girl when she meets her Daddy on the railway platform !! :)
Jenny is still the most stunning lady to ever walk this planet
Never a truer word said !!
