When I was working at the Odeon Middlesbrough we had a visit from Judge Dredd and his partner Judge Miles. They were touring to promote the Sylvester Stallone Judge Dredd Movie. The vehicle they were in, a prop from the movie, had been made road worthy and had it's own license plate to allow it to travel on UK roads.
The vehicle itself was built over a Land Rover and the Badge is still visible on the prop just below the middle of the front window, the body was fiberglass. The wheels in the movie had platic hub caps, the driver told us that these had a tendancy to shatter into a million pieces on the slightest contact with anything they touched, hence these were left off the prop when they drove it around the country.
The lad playing Dredd was piss poor but Judge Miles was rather cute ! :)
