Could this be the worst attempt at a Matte Painting ever ? It's from the Blake's 7 series 3 story 'Moloch' and looks like it was drawn by one of the producers kids 10 minutes before they needed it !! It's pretty bad in the long shot but then they zoom in on it !!

It's weird, I always knew that Blake's 7/Dr Who were always filmed on the same beach/quarry, but I never really gave a shit when I was 10 years old, I just loved Orac, Paul Darrow's character Avon and I had a big thing for Servalan . . . still do actually.
I'd have forgiven them anything to be honest.

It's got 1970's all over it. And not in a good way.

Gawd, that's bad. Got the first two series on DVD and never dared got 3 and 4, relying instead on the audio recordings i did on first transmission.
So thanks for the warning never, ever to give in and get them
