Thats a retro feast! What is Starfleet like? I recall it being great. Does it hold up?

Yeah it's still great fun, and it's a really cool box set. Has some interviews about the guys who did the re-dubbing and sound FX etc... Also Gerry Anderson talks breifly about the show and the fact hew was making Terrahawks at the time. Don't know if you this, but the woman who does the voice for Commander Makara also did Zelda's voice in Terrahawks !!

Ha, Dark Star. Must have seen that about 50 times in the 80's. I can sing all the incidental music even now. Including the tune Pinback plays on the bottles.

Have fun with this one, Andrew. http://spazioinwind.libero.it/thedarkstar/model.html

I've going through some old sci-fi films in the last couple of weeks, mostly ones I've seen before but haven't watched in a while like Outland, West World and Silent Running.

I did watch Soylent Green for the first time yesterday and although I've never seen it before I must have had enough background info on it or maybe seen a clip or two to know all about it. It was actually quite depressing some of it and the situation the world had got itself into didn't seem overly far stretched at this point in time. Happily it did also remind me of an old 2000AD series that Robin Smith drew which the name is escaping me right now.
