I've never really liked the new Cylon warriors or ships in the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica show, so it's great to see the old ones back, at least in CG form, in Battlestar Galactica: Razor an upcoming television film.The scenes are a flashbacks to the original Cylon war in which the young Adama fought. They not only feature the original looking Cylon's but also their ships, albeit slightly sleeker versions of them. I always loved that bat wing fighter with the crew of 3 cylons, it was a cool ship in the original show
The Visual FX for the new show are by Zoic Studios who also created the FX work for Firefly.

I already have RAZOR on order from AMAZON. Can't wait to see it. And I agree, the old school Cylons looked tougher, but I do like the new ships.
The new ships are a bit too pointy for me - I like the old ones. I'm quite fond of the new basestars though. They look mean.

BSG rocks! I prefer the old designs for all the ships, but agree the new base stars are very nice. It's going to be fun to see the old cylons in action again.
I still prefer the old Base Star to the new one.

I'm not a big fan of the new show, or the old show for that matter. I think I like the old Cylons better though.
