Sad news that Basil Poledouris who wrote the great scores for movies such as Conan: The Barbarian, Robocop and Starship Troopers has died, his great work will always live on.
Poor Basil, I still have the Robocop soundtrack on tape somewhere. Its a great bit of music. You are turning into obit guy now, first Nigel now Basil P. I'll keep an eye out for my name appearing as I'm acting Stunt co-ordinator (as well as PD) on the new Removals film.
